On Thursday, our Year 12 Geographers are travelling to the slopes of Snowdon to complete a day to investigate a small upland stream. In collaboration with the Field Studies Council, 33 geographers will embark on measuring core river characteristics in the upland beauty of Snowdonia.
Fieldwork is essential to Geography studies at Formby High School and will really help develop our students' knowledge and understanding.
Check out this excellent locational case study before you travel: http://www.field-studies-council.org/media/244842/background_information_-_afon_nant_peris.pdf
