Meet Mr McGuinness!

Calling all FHS geographers,

After settling into the first 3 weeks of the new school term, I am very excited to introduce myself as Formby High School's new leader of Geography.  After working at my last school for 5 years, I was delighted to join you in such an engaging department where FHS' geographers truly are determined to achieve.

My specialism is in Physical Geography, and I enjoy making learning Geography interesting, engaging and fun for all students in every year group.  I am very privileged to have joined such an excellent department and I look forward to being a part of more future success stories.

As a team, we are currently looking at new options for exciting and fun fieldwork and a new extra curricular Geography Club.  Details will be announced on the Blog soon!

If you have any ideas about how we can improve your Geography Department at FHS, maybe you have ideas for our new club, then please do let us know.  My classroom is C14 in C Block and I'll be happy to listen to your ideas.

Mr McGuinness.
