Some three million people have been left without power after violent storms hit the region around the US capital, Washington DC.

Australia is thought to be the biggest polluting MEDC (More Economically Developed Country) due to the amount of pollution compared to the size of its population. This week it has introduced a carbon tax where large companies are charged for the amount of pollution they create! Read more...
