Interested in Geography GCSE?

Geography GCSE at Formby High School is a fantastic academic subject taught by experienced teachers. Lessons are fun, engaging, challenging and support all learners. This year 49% of students achieved A or A*. Topics studies include coasts, earthquakes, hurricanes, tourism and wildfires.

Students study 5 lessons a fortnight in vibrant classrooms. Regular fieldtrips take place where students can learn outside the classroom. Our trips include studies of tourism in both Wales and the Lake District National Park as well as an adrenaline filled weekend at Hawsend in Cumbria. Students really enjoy their lessons and exam results are outstanding!
