England and Wales population up

Today the first figures from the 2011 census have been released and show there has been a huge increase in the population of England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Geography GCSE at Formby High School is a fantastic academic subject taught by experienced teachers. Lessons are fun, engaging, challenging and support all learners. This year 49% of students achieved A or A*. Topics studies include coasts, earthquakes, hurricanes, tourism and wildfires.

Students study 5 lessons a fortnight in vibrant classrooms. Regular fieldtrips take place where students can learn outside the classroom. Our trips include studies of tourism in both Wales and the Lake District National Park as well as an adrenaline filled weekend at Hawsend in Cumbria. Students really enjoy their lessons and exam results are outstanding!
